Covid-19 Lockdown - Club Update
The courts are open for SINGLES play only – The Clubhouse can ONLY be opened for the following reasons: Toilet Facilities – Access to First Aid Box & Defibrillator – Collection of Tennis Balls. The use of the Ball Machine is presently not permitted due to the restrictions and the logistics of sanitising. Please ensure that the Clubhouse is sanitised after EVERY lock and unlock.
Only courts 1 & 3 & 4 & 6 are to be used – Access by the gate nearest to the court only.
Please use your own tennis balls and be aware of the Guidance for Tennis Players documents for further advice on playing (copies on court and noticeboard) and which can also be found on www.lta.org.uk. Initially there will be balls available inside clubhouse door for use if you do not have your own. Take them home with you and re-use on your next visit.
At all times players should adhere to Social Distancing measures presently in place and should also adhere to all the advice on Health & Hygiene following the outbreak of the virus. The Committee have opened up the courts following the advice of the Government www.gov.uk and LTA www.lta.org.uk regarding outdoor exercise and where possible have followed the guidelines.
